Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in SSIS, SQL, Python, statistical modeling, forecasting/ML, and FastAPI backend development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS.

- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.

- Perform data cleaning, EDA, statistical analysis, and statistical modeling.

- Develop forecasting and Machine Learning models for business use cases.

- Perform feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance evaluation.

- Build scalable Python/FastAPI REST APIs for data and ML applications.

- Integrate APIs with databases, data pipelines, and ML models.

- Optimize ETL pipelines, SQL queries, APIs, and ML workflows for performance.

- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, logging, and error handling.

- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Backend Engineers, and business teams.

Required Skills:

- 3 - 6 years of experience in Data Engineering/Data & ML Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with SSIS and SQL Server.

- Strong Python programming skills.

- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST APIs.

- Experience in statistical modeling, forecasting, and ML modeling.

- Good knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Statsmodels.

- Strong understanding of ETL, data pipelines, data quality, and database concepts.

- Experience with Git/version control.

- Good to Have: Azure/AWS, Docker, CI/CD, MLflow, Power BI/Tableau.
