Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Android Malware Analyst with expertise in Android reverse engineering, malware analysis, and mobile security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience analyzing Android applications, identifying malicious behaviors, and assessing security threats. This role requires strong knowledge of Android internals, security engineering principles, and scripting for automation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform Android application reverse engineering using APK and DEX analysis techniques.
- Analyze Android malware samples to identify malicious behaviors, attack vectors, and threat indicators.
- Conduct threat modeling and security assessments of Android applications and mobile ecosystems.
- Investigate application behavior using automated analysis tools, emulators, and sandbox environments.
- Classify applications based on predefined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), security policies, and threat intelligence.
- Research emerging mobile threats, malware trends, and attack techniques affecting Android platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline malware detection and analysis workflows.
- Collaborate with security, engineering, and product teams to improve mobile security posture.
- Prepare detailed technical reports documenting findings, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 3- 8 years of experience in Android malware analysis, mobile security, or related cybersecurity domains.
- Strong experience in Android reverse engineering (APK, DEX analysis).
- Hands-on expertise in malware analysis, threat hunting, and threat modeling.
- Solid understanding of ARM-based architecture and Android platform internals.
- Experience in Android application development using C/C++ and Java.
- Proficiency in analyzing application behavior through automated tools, emulators, and sandboxing environments.

- Experience in scripting and automation, preferably using Python.

Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with mobile threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis frameworks.
- Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and mobile application security testing.
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
