Role Overview :

A leading organisation is seeking to hire an Android Framework Engineer - Systems Core/Systems Infra.

Job Specs :

- AOSP FW expertise with minimum 5 years of experience needed; Infotainment domain expertise is a plus but not mandatory.

Programming Skills :

- JAVA

- C/C++ is an added advantage

Domain Skills :

- 3 - 8 years of Android Framework experience is needed

- Shall be aware of Android HAL AOSP architecture

- Aware of Android Concepts : Sepolicy, config, and board config files

- Should be able to analyze & fix CTS/VTS issues

- Independently able to debug issues

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain robust Android system services to ensure optimal performance and reliability across our device portfolio.

- Develop and optimize Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) to facilitate efficient communication between the Android framework and underlying hardware components.

- Debug and resolve complex system-level issues, ranging from memory leaks and process crashes to performance bottlenecks within the AOSP stack.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate new hardware features into the Android framework, ensuring feature parity and system stability.

- Drive technical excellence by conducting rigorous code reviews and implementing best practices for C++ development within the Android ecosystem.

- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify areas for improvement in the core framework infrastructure.
