About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Android Expert with strong expertise in Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and Automotive ADAS development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that provide a 360-degree bird's-eye surround view using multiple camera inputs on Android-based embedded platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to build high-performance, low-latency automotive solutions optimized for embedded hardware and GPU acceleration.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and enhance Android Automotive solutions using Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
- Develop Android-based applications and framework components with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
- Implement and optimize Android Binder IPC mechanisms, latency analysis, and overall system performance.
- Design and develop image processing algorithms using C/C++ and Java for real-time surround-view camera systems.
- Integrate multiple wide-angle camera inputs to create seamless 360-degree panoramic bird's-eye view visualization.
- Implement image distortion correction, brightness/color balancing, and video stitching algorithms.
- Optimize graphics rendering using OpenGL or Vulkan Graphics APIs for automotive embedded platforms.
- Integrate surround-view solutions into infotainment systems, cockpit domain controllers, and other automotive host platforms.
- Perform software optimization for embedded systems and GPU-based architectures to achieve low-latency performance.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, system architects, UX/UI teams, and product stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Ensure software quality while adhering to automotive standards and best development practices.

- Proven experience working with Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
- Strong expertise in Android OS internals and framework development.
- Hands-on experience with Android Binder IPC, system performance tuning, and latency optimization.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Java.
- Experience in embedded software development and real-time Android systems.
- Experience in image processing, graphics rendering, and GPU optimization.
- Understanding of automotive software architecture and camera-based ADAS solutions.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Extensive experience in automotive software development.
- Strong understanding of surround-view camera systems and image stitching techniques.
- Experience working with embedded GPU optimization using OpenGL/Vulkan.
