Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

- Architect robust, secure, and scalable mobile applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

- Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.

- Stay up to date with the latest mobile technology trends, tools, and best practices.

- Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and QA to deliver seamless mobile experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8-12 years of proven experience in Android application development.

- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

- Deep understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

- Experience with Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation).

- Familiarity with MVVM / MVP / Clean Architecture.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and 3rd-party libraries integration.

- Strong knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

- Experience with Android Studio, Git, Gradle, and continuous integration.

- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.

- Published one or more Android apps in the Google Play Store is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
