About the Role :

Were looking for talented engineers with hands-on experience in Android Audio Framework, Audio HAL, ALSA/ASoC and C/C++ to join our Automotive Infotainment engineering team.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain audio software for Automotive Infotainment systems.

- Work extensively with Android Audio Framework, Audio HAL and Audio Policy Manager.

- Develop and integrate audio drivers and codecs.

- Customize and optimize ALSA / ASoC drivers on Linux.

- Integrate Bluetooth Audio, USB Audio and media playback capabilities.

- Debug audio routing, synchronization, latency and playback issues.

- Collaborate with DSP teams on audio processing and tuning.

- Integrate microphones, amplifiers, speakers and codec hardware.

- Optimize audio performance, boot time and memory utilization.

- Work closely with BSP, Middleware, Application and Validation teams.

- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex defects.

Required Skills :

- 3 - 5 years of Audio Software Development experience.

- Strong programming skills in C/C++.

- Hands-on experience with Android Audio Framework.

- Strong experience with Audio HAL.

- Good knowledge of ALSA & ASoC.

- Experience with Linux / Embedded Linux.

- Understanding of audio codecs and PCM audio.

- Experience with Bluetooth Audio - A2DP / HFP.

- Knowledge of USB Audio.

- Familiarity with AudioFlinger & Audio Policy Manager.

- Strong debugging skills using ADB & Logcat.

- Experience with Git & Gerrit.
