Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Android AOSP Framework Engineer with strong expertise in Android Framework development and AOSP architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Android HAL, SELinux/SEPolicy, system configuration, and CTS/VTS debugging.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain Android AOSP Framework components.

- Work closely with Android HAL and AOSP architecture to develop and debug platform-level features.

- Analyze and resolve CTS/VTS failures and compliance issues.

- Debug complex Android Framework and platform issues independently.

- Work with Android configuration files, including BoardConfig and related system configuration files.

- Understand and modify SELinux/SEPolicy policies as required.

- Analyze system logs, traces, and crash reports to identify root causes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve platform and integration issues.

- Participate in design, development, debugging, testing, and delivery of Android platform features.

- Ensure code quality, stability, and compliance with Android platform requirements.

Required Skills :

- 3 - 8 years of hands-on experience in Android Framework/AOSP development.

- Strong expertise in Android AOSP Framework and architecture.

- Good understanding of Android HAL.

- Strong knowledge of Android platform concepts: SELinux/SEPolicy, Android configuration/build files, and BoardConfig.

- Hands-on experience in analyzing and fixing CTS/VTS issues.

- Good programming skills in Java; knowledge of C/C++ is an added advantage.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in the Automotive Infotainment domain.

- Exposure to Android Automotive / embedded Android platforms.

- Experience with Android platform customization and integration.

- Familiarity with Android build and development workflows.
