Altezzasys - AWS Data Architect

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale cloud data platforms and enterprise data solutions. The role requires deep expertise in AWS data services, data warehousing, data modelling, ETL/ELT, big data architecture, real-time data streaming, and enterprise integrations.

Tech Stack : Python, Apache Airflow, AWS S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Kafka, SQS, EventBridge, Fivetran, APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement scalable, secure, and highly available data architectures on AWS.

- Architect enterprise-scale cloud data platforms supporting batch, streaming, and near-real-time workloads.

- Design end-to-end data pipelines, data platforms, data warehouses, and data integration solutions.

- Establish architecture standards, design principles, and technology roadmaps.

- Design enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow.

- Design real-time and near-real-time data architectures using Apache Kafka, SQS, and EventBridge.

- Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and mentoring across data engineering initiatives.

- Ensure data architectures are scalable, maintainable, cost-efficient, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience designing enterprise-scale AWS data lakes and data warehouses.

- Experience with real-time streaming and event-driven architectures.

- Knowledge of AWS security, IAM, networking, and cost optimization.

- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platforms.

- Relevant AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Engineer.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
