Role : Senior Software Developer (C++/C#).

Role Overview :

As a Senior Software Developer, youll be a core technical member within Alphas algorithmic team.

You will design, develop, and optimize our low-latency trading products across asset classes, ensuring robust and scalable system architecture.

Responsibilities :

- Architect, build, and maintain low-latency trading and data-processing systems using C++ or C#.

- Optimize performance-critical system components, focusing on speed, scalability, and reliability.

- Develop and consume REST APIs for trading, market data, and internal services.

- Design and implement solutions integrating with SQL databases (MySQL, MS-SQL), ensuring data integrity and query performance.

- Develop modules leveraging sockets programming, multi-threaded design patterns, and asynchronous workflows.

- Collaborate closely with algorithmic researchers, traders, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into robust technology solutions.

- Support real-time production systems, including rapid problem diagnosis, root cause analysis, and rollout of fixes.

- Contribute to the continual improvement of our codebase, development processes, and deployment pipelines.

Required Skillset :

- Minimum 5 years professional experience programming in C++ or C#, with substantial contributions to performance-critical systems.

- Deep experience working with MySQL, MS SQL (normalized schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning).

- Strong background in REST API development, client-server communication, and networking (sockets).

- Advanced understanding of multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and resource management.

- Proven ability to design, review, and maintain high-quality, production-grade systems.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have :

- Experience building ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure (exchange or brokerage connectivity, FIX/FAST/protocols).

- Familiarity with high-availability architectures, message queues, caching, and distributed systems.

- Experience in capital markets, trading, or fintech environments.

- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD best practices.

- Prior experience integrating with OMS/EMS or broker APIs.

Compensation :
