Key Responsibilities:

Guidewire DataHub & InfoCenter Engineering:

- Cloud Operations: Develop, configure, and maintain Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter solution pipelines natively within Guidewire Cloud environments.

- Data Modeling & Architecture: Design and optimize relational and dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) to support complex P&C insurance reporting needs.

- ETL & Data Pipeline Optimization: Build, refine, and maintain efficient extraction, transformation, and loading processes from Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) into DataHub and InfoCenter.

- Batch Scheduling & Performance: Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot automated batch scheduling jobs to meet tight SLA requirements and ensure high data availability.

Integrations & Financial Reporting:

- Third-Party Integrations: Lead or assist in architecting and maintaining seamless integrations and data feeds between DataHub/InfoCenter and enterprise third-party financial reporting applications.

- Downstream Analytics Support: Collaborate with BI and finance teams to provide clean, structured data for financial reporting, general ledger integration, and executive dashboards.

Quality Assurance & Support:

- Conduct performance tuning on queries, batch routines, and database scripts within Guidewire Cloud infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot complex data lineage issues, data quality discrepancies, and job failures across staging, operational, and reporting data layers.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

- Experience: 3 - 5 years of hands-on technical experience with Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter.

- Cloud Requirement: Direct, hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud is mandatory.

- Certification: Active Guidewire PolicyCenter (GWPC) Ace Certification is required.

Highly Desirable Skills:

- Data Engineering Expertise: Strong background in data architecture, dimensional modeling, batch job orchestration, and database performance tuning.

- Industry Experience: Direct experience within the Canadian Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance market.

- Financial App Integration: Demonstrated experience integrating DataHub/InfoCenter with external third-party financial reporting or general ledger applications.

- Integrations Expertise: Guidewire Integration Certification or proven hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud integration patterns (REST APIs, Cloud API, messaging).

Technical Competencies:

- Technical Stack: Proficiency in SQL, GOSU, Java, XML/JSON, and cloud-native batch scheduling frameworks.

- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset for investigating data anomalies, ETL performance bottlenecks, and complex data mapping logic.

- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with cross-functional teams, external integration partners, and business stakeholders.
