About The Role :

AiFA Labs is seeking passionate software developers with strong programming skills and a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals. This role is ideal for candidates with 2+ years of experience who are eager to work on high-performance backend systems and build expertise in Rust and modern distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Rust.

- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to implement scalable software solutions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Develop and integrate REST APIs, backend services, and data processing components.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to build reliable and scalable applications.

- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications and services.

- Work in Linux-based environments and support deployment and operational activities.

- Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies and engineering best practices.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of software development experience.

- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.

- Proficiency in Rust programming language good to have exposure on C, C++, Java, Python, Go.

- Good understanding of database concepts and SQL.

- Familiarity with Git, software development lifecycle, and coding best practices.

- Working knowledge of Linux and command-line tools.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Rust through professional experience, personal projects, open-source contributions, or self-learning.

- Experience in backend development, microservices, or API development.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra.

- Understanding of distributed systems, networking concepts, and system design fundamentals.

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), or Blockchain technologies is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
