Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer to join our innovation team in Bangalore, where you will bridge the gap between advanced mechanical engineering and cutting-edge artificial intelligence. In this role, you will architect and deploy sophisticated models that integrate mechanical design data from Creo and SolidWorks with predictive analytics and Generative AI frameworks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, data scientists, and product stakeholders, to transform complex simulation data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement end-to-end Machine Learning and Deep Learning pipelines that process high-fidelity data from Simulink and Matlab to enhance mechanical design accuracy.
- Develop and scale Generative AI and LLM-based applications, specifically utilizing RAG architectures to synthesize technical documentation and engineering specifications.
- Build robust data engineering workflows using PySpark, Apache Flink, and Kafka to ensure seamless ingestion and processing of large-scale datasets across distributed environments.
- Orchestrate complex model deployment and monitoring through MLOps best practices, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes to maintain high availability and performance.
- Manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring cost-effective and scalable data processing via Databricks and Airflow.
- Collaborate with mechanical design teams to integrate AI-driven insights into Creo and SolidWorks workflows, significantly reducing time-to-market for complex hardware components.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in Python-based development, with a strong command of Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks to solve complex engineering problems.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale data ecosystems, including Hadoop, Kafka, and Apache Flink, ensuring data integrity and low-latency processing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Databricks, with a focus on building scalable MLOps pipelines using Airflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Deep technical proficiency in mechanical simulation tools such as Simulink, Matlab, Creo, and SolidWorks, and the ability to bridge these with AI/ML models.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment in Bangalore, while maintaining high standards of code quality and documentation.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related quantitative field, supported by 3 - 6 years of relevant industry experience.
Technical Stack :
- Python, AWS, Hadoop, Machine Learning, Azure, Databricks, Kafka, Google Cloud Platform, Apache Flink, Apache Airflow, Docker
