Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned AI Engineer to join our Bangalore-based innovation hub, where you will architect and deploy cutting-edge generative AI solutions that redefine how our enterprise clients interact with data. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex machine learning research and scalable production environments, working closely with cross-functional product teams, data scientists, and senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into high-impact AI products. By leveraging advanced LLMs and RAG frameworks, you will directly influence our product roadmap, driving efficiency and delivering transformative value to our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end Generative AI pipelines to automate complex workflows, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of industry standards.

- Architect robust RAG systems that integrate seamlessly with enterprise data, enabling accurate, context-aware responses for internal and external stakeholders.

- Lead the development and fine-tuning of LLM-based applications and Copilot tools, directly enhancing user productivity and operational intelligence.

- Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines on Databricks, ensuring high-performance model training and inference at scale.

- Serve as a technical authority on AI/ML cloud architecture, guiding the team in selecting the right infrastructure to balance cost, latency, and model performance.

- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence, ensuring our AI initiatives align with long-term business objectives.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying production-grade Machine Learning and NLP models, with a deep understanding of the current Generative AI ecosystem.

- Proven ability to architect complex AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms, with hands-on experience managing large-scale data processing within Databricks environments.

- Strong proficiency in implementing RAG architectures and fine-tuning LLMs, coupled with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a track record of collaborating effectively across diverse, high-performing teams in a hybrid work environment in Bangalore.

- A strategic mindset that balances rapid experimentation with the rigorous requirements of enterprise-grade software development.

- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, supported by 6 - 12 years of progressive experience in the AI/ML domain.
