About the Role :

As an AI Development Engineer, you will solve complex engineering problems by leveraging modern AI technologies to improve development speed, quality, and efficiency. The role focuses on building production-grade AI systems, agentic applications, and intelligent workflows by combining Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal AI, APIs, retrieval systems, and cloud-native engineering practices.

You will work closely with product, engineering, security, and design teams to build scalable, reliable, and production-ready AI applications while adopting AI-first software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions and system designs.

- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI applications and agentic systems.

- Build intelligent workflows integrating LLMs, multimodal models, APIs, retrieval systems (RAG), and microservices.

- Develop AI-powered applications while maintaining high standards of code quality, scalability, security, and performance.

- Optimize prompts, model selection, inference cost, and AI workflows.

- Implement observability, testing, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems.

- Apply Responsible AI principles including privacy, safety, transparency, and governance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Security, Data, and Design.

- Mentor engineering teams in adopting AI-first development practices and system orchestration.

Required Skills :

- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building production-grade applications.

- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Foundation Models, Multimodal AI, or Vision/Audio/Text-based AI systems.
