Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced AI Data Specialist to manage, curate, and optimize high-quality datasets for AI/ML model development. The ideal candidate will work closely with data science and engineering teams to ensure data readiness, accuracy, and usability for machine learning and generative AI applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collect, clean, preprocess, and structure large-scale datasets for AI/ML use cases

- Design and implement data pipelines for structured and unstructured data

- Perform data labeling, annotation strategy design, and quality validation

- Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to support model training and evaluation

- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and compliance with governance standards

- Work on feature engineering and dataset optimization for AI models

- Analyze data quality issues and implement corrective measures

- Support deployment readiness of datasets for production AI systems

- Maintain documentation of datasets, workflows, and data standards

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4-8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML data roles

- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, ETL pipelines, and data wrangling

- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL

- Experience working with large datasets (structured & unstructured)

- Familiarity with ML data preparation workflows

- Knowledge of data labeling tools and annotation frameworks

- Understanding of basic machine learning concepts and model lifecycle

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus

Good to Have :

- Experience with Generative AI datasets (LLMs, prompt datasets, embeddings)

- Exposure to data governance, privacy, and compliance practices

- Experience with tools like Spark, Databricks, or similar big data platforms

- Familiarity with vector databases or semantic search systems

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Attention to detail and data accuracy

- Good communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work in fast-paced AI-driven environments
