About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of next-generation AI systems, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong architectural skills, and the ability to drive AI strategy aligned with business outcomes.

You will play a critical role in building scalable AI platforms, guiding engineering teams, and delivering innovative solutions that power intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making at Symplr.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of AI/ML and GenAI solutions across enterprise systems.

- Design and implement scalable solutions using LLMs, Agentic workflows, and RAG pipelines.

- Develop and optimize AI-powered applications leveraging Python and modern AI frameworks.

- Define and enforce best practices for model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

- Architect multi-agent systems for complex workflows, automation, and decision intelligence.

- Build and optimize data pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and inferencing of AI models.

- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, and cloud platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and data teams.

- Drive AI innovation, PoCs, and adoption of emerging technologies.

- Ensure AI systems adhere to security, scalability, and ethical AI standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 to 15 years of experience in software engineering / AI / ML, with at least 4-6 years in AI architecture roles.

- Strong programming expertise in Python (mandatory).

- Deep hands-on experience with :

1. Generative AI & LLMs (GPT, Claude, open-source LLMs, etc.)

2. RAG architecture & vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.)

3. Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain Agents, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, etc.)

4. Machine Learning & Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)

- Experience in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model optimization.

- Expertise in designing distributed, scalable systems and microservices architectures.

- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and pipelines.

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and AI/ML services.

- Exposure to MLOps / LLMOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and model lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in healthcare domain or enterprise SaaS environments.

- Familiarity with knowledge graphs, embeddings, and semantic search.

- Exposure to AI governance, explainability, and responsible AI practices.

- Hands-on experience with real-time AI applications and streaming systems.
