About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced AI Agent Engineer with 6+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI Agent and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI, LLM/GenAI, and Agent Development Kit (ADK).

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and managing intelligent AI agents capable of reasoning, using tools, interacting with enterprise systems, and automating complex business workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy AI agent solutions for enterprise use cases.

- Build intelligent and autonomous agents using Agent Development Kit (ADK) and other relevant agent frameworks.

- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.

- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI capabilities into AI agent applications.

- Design agent workflows involving reasoning, planning, tool calling, memory, and multi-step task execution.

- Develop integrations with external APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and third-party services.

- Implement prompt engineering and optimize LLM interactions for accuracy, reliability, and performance.

- Build and maintain RAG-based solutions using appropriate retrieval and knowledge-grounding techniques.

- Evaluate agent performance and continuously improve response quality, reliability, and efficiency.

- Develop mechanisms for monitoring, logging, error handling, and troubleshooting AI agent applications.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, data scientists, and software engineering teams to translate business requirements into AI solutions.

- Ensure AI agent solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and production-ready.

- Maintain technical documentation for agent architecture, workflows, APIs, integrations, and deployment processes.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in Agentic AI, LLMs, and Generative AI.

Required Skills:

- 6+ years of experience in AI/ML, AI Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.

- Strong hands-on experience developing AI Agents / Agentic AI solutions.

- Strong programming expertise in Python.

- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST API development.

- Strong understanding of LLMs and Generative AI.

- Experience with Agent Development Kit (ADK).

- Understanding of agent architecture, orchestration, tool/function calling, and multi-step workflows.

- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM application development.

- Good understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and knowledge retrieval.

- Experience integrating AI agents with APIs, databases, and external tools.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
