Senior Backend Engineer (SDE-3)

Location : Gurugram (Work from Office)

Experience : 5-7 years

Tech Stack : Node.js, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Redis, Kafka, Microservices, Distributed Systems

Responsibilities :

- Architect, optimize, and manage SQL databases for high-performance applications.

- Implement and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka/RabbitMQ.

- Ensure observability and monitoring (logging, tracing, and alerting).

- Optimize API performance for low-latency, high-throughput applications.

- Drive system design discussions and propose scalable solutions.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.

- Troubleshoot scalability issues and handle high-concurrency traffic.

Requirements :

- Strong expertise in Node.js, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and database design.

- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with Kafka, Redis, and scalable backend systems.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

- Strong system design and architectural decision-making skills.

- Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical projects.

- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is a plus
