AEM Developer - Sling Servlets

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain solutions on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including Sites and Assets.

- Create and manage custom components, templates, dialogs, and workflows.

- Participate in full software development lifecycle design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

- Work closely with product owners, designers, and backend teams to translate business needs into scalable AEM solutions.

- Implement AEM best practices including code reusability, performance tuning, and scalable architecture.

- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis in AEM environments.

- Ensure solution quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Key Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development.

- Strong hands-on experience with:

- AEM Sites & Assets

- Custom components and templates using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, OSGi, and JCR

- AEM workflows and metadata schemas

- Solid understanding of AEM architecture, dispatcher configuration, and performance optimization.

- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular) is a plus.

- Experience integrating AEM with other systems via RESTful APIs, JSON, etc.

- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Adobe Certified Expert AEM Developer certification is a plus.

- Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git) is desirable.
