Job Description:

Role : Technical Lead Data Engineering

Overview :

Looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to build and scale data platforms and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform. This role combines architecture, coding, and team leadership.

Responsibilities :

- Design and own scalable data pipelines and architecture

- Build and optimize ELT workflows using dbt

- Manage orchestration and data workflows (Airflow or similar)

- Deploy and manage services on Google Kubernetes Engine / or any cloud

- Optimize performance and cost (BigQuery or similar warehouses)

- Integrate ML/AI models into production systems

- Lead code reviews, enforce standards, and mentor engineers

Requirements :

- 10+ years in Data/Software Engineering

- Strong in SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark

- Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GCS, IAM) or any other cloud (AWS/ Azure)

- Experience with dbt, Airflow, and modern ELT (not mandatory)

- Solid data modeling and performance tuning skills

- Prior team leadership experience

Nice to Have :

- GenAI / LLM / Vector search

- Large-scale datasets (100M+ records)

- BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Bottom Line :

- Must be able to design, build, and fix systems independentlynot just manage
