Responsibilities:

- Provide technical data engineering design for XLerate across multiple CRM-space teams, with focus on Member Aggregate, segmentation, and the data paths that power audiences, campaigns, reporting, and Connect-driven use cases.

- Design, build, and optimize high-performance SQL and data-intensive workflows on large MySQL and Redshift datasets.

- Design and operate lakehouse-style analytical models (including Apache Iceberg) used by segmentation, audiences, and reporting.

- Own reliability of the CRM data platform path - pipelines, replication, and query infrastructure that product squads depend on.

- Partner with Product and engineers on teams such as CRM Ops and Connect to ship data capabilities that unlock measurable studio outcomes.

- Provide technical mentorship on data modeling, query performance, and production-safe delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field exp. preferred.

- 6+ years of experience in data engineering and/or backend-data roles; prior lead or tech-lead experience preferred.

- Strong expertise writing and optimizing complex SQL against large datasets (MySQL or equivalent).

- Experience with data pipelines (ETL/ELT and/or event-driven replication) in production.

- Hands-on AWS infrastructure for data platforms, including compute, storage, networking, and IAM.

- Experience with Trino or another distributed SQL engine in production.
