- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in information, solution, or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment

- At least 5 years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering solutions related to APIs, service oriented architecture, and technology modernizations

- At least 7 years of direct software development experience for RESTful APIs and WSDL-based SOAP web services using .NET/C# or other enterprise backend languages and frameworks

- Strong knowledge of multi-tiered, on premise and Cloud based architectures including CI/CD, IaC, and other infrastructure concepts and tools

- Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks

- Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS)

- Knowledge of data architectures and DBMS technologies

- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise application integration (EAI), including SOA, microservices, eventing/messaging, API, open data patterns, and middleware technologies

- Experience in multi-platform systems including web, mobile, cloud

- Exposure and understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent analytical and technical skills

- Excellent planning and organizational skills

- Experience with graphical modeling approaches and tools

- Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions

- Ability to translate business needs into technical capabilities within a comprehensive overall solution

- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, managing numerous analysis and design priorities, without losing sight of strategic context
