.Net Microservices Engineer

About the Opportunity :

We are urgently looking for experienced .NET + Microservices Engineers to join our team on a subcontract basis for an initial 3-month engagement.

Youll be working on critical backend systems leveraging modern .NET technologies, microservice patterns, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain applications using .NET Core 8 and C#.

- Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs.

- Build and support microservices deployed via Docker and orchestrated with Kubernetes.

- Implement FTP server protocols and handle complex file operations.

- Design and maintain job scheduling and batch processing workflows.

- Ensure seamless integration with SQL Server and handle relational data modeling.

- Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively with the team.

- Work with Azure cloud services for application deployment and management.

- Integrate with Kafka as a message broker for event-driven architecture.

- Ensure secure development practices, especially for API and data handling.

- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core 8 and C#.

- Solid understanding of microservice architecture.

- Proficiency in REST API design, development, and integration.

- Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

- Experience with FTP protocols and file operations.

- Proven expertise in job scheduling and batch workflows.

- Strong knowledge of SQL Server.

- Experience with Git for version control and collaborative workflows.

- Familiarity with Azure cloud platform.

- Working knowledge of Kafka.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Understanding of security best practices in API and data handling.

Contract Duration : 3 Months (extension possible based on project needs)
