Job description :

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in Azure cloud services, microservices architecture, and modern application design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimising scalable backend systems and APIs while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure .NET Core applications and APIs.

- Implement and manage microservices for a modular, efficient system architecture.

- Ensure clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding best practices.

Cloud & DevOps (Azure) :

- Deploy and manage applications using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Kubernetes, etc.).

- Integrate cloud-based solutions such as Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Event Hubs.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

System Integration :

- Collaborate with frontend developers and other backend services for end-to-end solutions.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and third-party services.

Performance & Security :

- Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and security reviews of applications.

- Ensure data protection and compliance with organisational standards.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.

- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications & Skills :

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on development experience using .NET technologies.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong proficiency in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, and Entity Framework.

- Deep understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architecture.

- Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Service Bus, AKS, Azure Functions, etc.).

- Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and caching mechanisms (Redis).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.
