Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with strong experience in Web API development to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, RESTful APIs, and database integration, and should be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced development environment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful Web APIs using ASP.NET Web API / ASP.NET Core

- Develop backend logic and business services using C# and .NET framework

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs for web and mobile applications

- Integrate APIs with front-end applications and third-party services

- Work with SQL Server / relational databases for data storage, queries, and optimization

- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices

- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and architecture discussions

- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications

- Ensure API security using authentication and authorization mechanisms

- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and product managers

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards

- Support application deployment and post-production issues

- Maintain proper documentation for APIs and development processes

Technical Skills Required :

Must Have :

- Strong experience in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core

- Hands-on experience in ASP.NET Web API / REST API development

- Good understanding of HTTP methods, REST principles, and API design

- Experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, indexing)

- Knowledge of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core

- Experience in exception handling, logging, and debugging

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git / TFS / Azure DevOps)

Good to Have :

- Experience with Microservices architecture

- Knowledge of JWT / OAuth authentication

- Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

- Basic knowledge of Angular / React / frontend integration

- Experience in unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)

- Understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

- 46 years of relevant experience in .NET backend development

- Experience working in enterprise or product-based applications

- Immediate to short notice period preferred (optional, if required)
