Technical Lead - Job Description :

Zywave is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Technical Lead with deep expertise in .NET technologies and API architecture, including API Gateway implementations. This role requires a strong technical leader who can guide development teams, drive best practices, and deliver scalable, secure API solutions within a modern microservices environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of high-quality enterprise APIs using .NET Core and C#.

- Architect and implement API Gateway solutions (e.g., Ocelot) for distributed systems.

- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams to design and deliver robust technical solutions.

- Enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment best practices across the team.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to promote technical growth.

- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring long-term, sustainable solutions.

- Continuously enhance API performance, scalability, and security.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend tools or frameworks that add value.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding data engineers, analysts, and product stakeholdersto deliver meaningful, business-focused solutions.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.

- Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and RESTful API development.

- Proven experience with microservices architecture and API Gateway patterns.

- Solid understanding of API security standards such as OAuth2 and JWT.

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and AWS cloud services.

- Deep knowledge of software design principles, including SOLID and clean architecture.

- Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and RDS.

- Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and API-driven systems.
