Role Overview :

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Zywaves SaaS products. You will design and implement robust automated testing solutions, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an empowered, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to deliver high-quality software.

- Identify software risks and opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and depth.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Contribute to and enhance Zywaves test automation frameworks and libraries.

- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other team members in an agile, team-based environment.

- Plan and execute functional, regression, and performance testing as required.

- Provide guidance and leadership to other engineers on test automation best practices.

- Participate in planning and design activities within continuous delivery cycles.

- Continuously improve development, testing practices, tools, and processes.

- Mentor and coach teammates while continuously enhancing your own technical skills.

Technology Stack :

You will work with a modern, best-of-breed technology stack, including :

- Backend : .NET Core, .NET Framework, Python, AWS Lambda

- Frontend : React, VueJS, Web Components, ZUI (Zywave internal UI library)

- Cloud & DevOps : AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform

- Databases & Messaging : MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, Cloud Data Platforms such as Snowflake

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 5+ years of relevant industry experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and modern software development practices.

- Experience with modern SaaS-oriented design patterns and architectures.

- Hands-on experience with test automation and performance testing practices.

- Hands-on experience in testing cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like Lambda, storage, and distributed systems.

Technology Orientation :

- Selenium, WebDriver, Neotys

- .NET technology ecosystem

- API and microservices testing

- SQL Server and relational data testing patterns

- Performance testing using JMeter

- Exposure to testing data platforms such as Snowflake (good to have)

- Familiarity with IaC validation and deployment testing using Terraform (good to have)

- Exposure to Prompt Engineering is a plus
