Zoop.One - Backend Developer - Server Side Component

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database systems for scalable web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend technologies, database design, API development, and cloud-based application architecture.

The candidate will collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, product managers, and QA teams to deliver secure, high-performing, and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.

- Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for web/mobile applications.

- Develop server-side business logic and integrate with frontend applications.

- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models.

- Ensure high performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness of applications.

- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following coding standards.

- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication, and external services.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend and production issues.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders.

- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

- Implement security best practices, logging, monitoring, and error handling.

- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release management.

Required Skills :

Strong experience in backend programming languages such as :

1. Java/Spring Boot

2. Node.js/Express.js

3. Python/Django/Flask/FastAPI

4. .NET/C# (based on project requirement)

- Experience in REST API development and API integration.

- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.

Strong understanding of databases :

1. SQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server

2. NoSQL: MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra

- Experience with version control tools like Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

- Understanding of message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms like JWT, OAuth, SSO.

- Experience with caching mechanisms and performance optimization
