Role Overview :

As a System Engineer, you will serve as a core architect of our infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our production environments. You will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to bridge the gap between software deployment and system reliability. Your daily contributions will directly influence the uptime and performance of critical applications, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient under high-traffic conditions while driving operational efficiency across our remote-first engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain highly available Linux-based infrastructure to ensure consistent service delivery for our enterprise clients.

- Design and implement automated cloud deployment pipelines to reduce manual intervention and accelerate time-to-market for new features.

- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks to maintain optimal application response times.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate legacy workloads to cloud-native environments, improving cost-efficiency and scalability.

- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards across all infrastructure layers to protect sensitive client data.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Linux environments, including deep knowledge of kernel tuning, shell scripting, and system hardening.

- Proven ability to design and manage scalable cloud architectures, with a focus on optimizing resource utilization and cost management.

- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot intricate system issues in distributed environments, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior team members.

- Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment, maintaining high levels of self-discipline, documentation standards, and proactive project management.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 7 - 8 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering.
