Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot 3+, microservices architecture, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

The ideal candidate is a technology enthusiast with a passion for AI and modern software engineering practices, possesses a problem-solving mindset, and demonstrates deep analytical skills.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, proactively adopting tools like Cursor and GitLab Copilot to improve productivity and quality of delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Education : B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed institute.

- Experience : 4+ years of backend development experience with enterprise-grade systems.

- Expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot 3+, with a strong background in building microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle, and ORM tools like Hibernate.

- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, system design, and design patterns.

- Solid experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and following API-first design.

- Deep problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate complex scenarios.

- Passionate about AI, modern technologies, and leveraging tools like Cursor, GitLab Copilot, or similar AI-assisted coding platforms to boost productivity.

- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player with mentoring capabilities.

Great to Have :

- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks or concepts (e.g., LangChain, LLM integration, NLP pipelines).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.

- Experience working with ReactJS, Single Page Applications (SPA), and modern front-end architectures.

- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitLab, and containerization.

- Experience in event-driven systems using RabbitMQ, etc.

- Strong interest in exploring and applying AI tools for code generation, testing, and automation.

- Deep understanding of modern web technologies and the ability to architect full-stack solutions.

- Familiarity with API gateways, service discovery, and observability tools in a microservices ecosystem.

- Drive to constantly learn, experiment, and innovate with emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and performant Spring Boot 3+ microservices.

- Design and optimize data models and SQL queries for PostgreSQL.

- Implement and maintain REST APIs and ensure high-quality integration with frontend and third-party systems.

- Champion AI-assisted development practices, using tools like Cursor and GitLab Copilot to accelerate delivery.

- Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA, DevOps, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features.

- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

- Continuously evaluate and propose modern technologies, tools, and techniques to improve product quality and team efficiency.

- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and cross-team knowledge sharing.
