Position : SDE I - Android Developer

Location : Gurugram (Hybrid)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a passionate SDE - Android Developer with 1+ years of professional experience to join our engineering team. You will work on enhancing our Android applications, maintaining existing Java-based modules, and contributing to new feature development using Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Java and Kotlin

- Work closely with product and backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs

- Maintain and refactor the existing Java codebase while building new features in Kotlin

- Implement clean, scalable, and testable code following MVVM architecture

- Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness

- Collaborate using Git-based version control workflows

Requirements :

- 1+ years of professional experience in Android development

- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin

- Solid understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle

- Experience working with RESTful APIs

- Familiarity with modern architectural patterns, especially MVVM

- Expert in 3rd Party integrations like Firebase, Google Maps, Payment Gateways, etc.

- Working knowledge of Git and version control best practices

Nice to Have :

- Experience working on large or legacy Android codebases

- Understanding of performance optimization and debugging tools

- Prior experience in consumer-facing or travel-tech applications.
