Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Java/AWS Architect to provide technical leadership for the leading account at our organization. The role involves solution design, code quality, architecture governance, integration, and production troubleshooting in collaboration with onsite technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical leadership, design guidance, and architecture reviews.

- Review APIs, data flows, integrations, security, performance, and reliability.

- Guide developers on coding standards, best practices, and implementation.

- Troubleshoot application, database, AWS, and messaging issues.

- Conduct code reviews, impact analysis, release readiness, and production RCA.

Technical Stack :

- Java: Java 17/21, Jakarta EE 11, JAX-RS/Jersey, JPA, Hibernate/EclipseLink.

- AWS Serverless: API Gateway, Lambda development/deployment, S3 lifecycle/events, SQS, DLQ, SNS, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, and AppConfig.

- Messaging & Streaming: Kinesis, MSK/Kafka, stream partitioning, and real-time processing. Apache Flink experience is preferred.

- Databases: Oracle 11, JDBC, SQL troubleshooting; DynamoDB data modelling and Streams experience preferred.

- Build & Deployment: Gradle/Maven, Lambda packaging/layers, CI/CD, and Docker.

- Core Engineering: REST APIs, service integration, error handling, logging, security, observability, and distributed-system troubleshooting.
