Position : Senior Data Protection Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Data Protection Engineer with extensive expertise in managing and maintaining enterprise data protection platforms including Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organizations critical data assets by ensuring their security, availability, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain data protection platforms such as Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA, following industry best practices for data security.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data protection requirements and design robust solutions.

- Monitor performance and availability of data protection systems using tools like New Relic, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline data protection processes.

- Utilize Ansible AWX for configuration management and automation of routine operational tasks.

- Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support and resolution of critical incidents impacting data protection.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Extensive hands-on experience managing Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA platforms within enterprise environments.

- Relevant certifications in data protection technologies are highly desirable.

- Proficiency with performance monitoring tools such as New Relic to ensure optimal system performance.

- Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and operational efficiency.

- Experience with Ansible AWX for configuration management and automation.
