Position : Oracle APEX Developer

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure web-based applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle database technologies, and front-end development, with a focus on delivering robust, high-performance solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications, delivering intuitive user interfaces and efficient business logic.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical designs.

- Optimize application performance while ensuring data security and compliance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

- Design and manage infrastructure solutions that ensure system reliability, scalability, and robustness.

- Proactively monitor system health using performance metrics and automated tools to prevent potential issues.

- Lead incident management efforts during service disruptions, ensuring timely resolution.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes to enhance system reliability.

- Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.

- Partner with development teams to align reliability goals and implement best practices in software

deployment.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation to support efficient troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.

- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement by adopting innovative technologies and operational practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience with Oracle APEX (version 20+ preferred).

- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database architecture.

- Working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful web services.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience managing and maintaining highly available systems, preferably with cloud infrastructure.

- Skilled in programming automation scripts to reduce repetitive manual tasks.

- Solid understanding of monitoring tools, incident management processes, and metrics analysis.

- Expertise in system performance optimization and troubleshooting, with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and security best practices.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to work calmly under pressure.

- Systemic thinking and a proactive approach to anticipating and mitigating potential system impacts.

- Demonstrated ownership and accountability for service reliability and performance.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
