Position : Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager

Experience : 10+ Years (5+ Years in Endpoint Engineering)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager with a minimum of 10 years in the IT field, including at least 5 years of dedicated experience in infrastructure endpoint engineering.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Microsoft's endpoint management solutions, with a proven track record of designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale enterprise environments.

This role requires deep technical proficiency in managing and securing endpoints, ensuring system health, and driving efficiency through automation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Endpoint Management & Deployment :

- Design, deploy, and manage endpoint solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), including operating system deployment (OSD), application and patch management, and software distribution.

- Oversee the entire lifecycle of endpoints, from initial provisioning and configuration to decommissioning.

System Administration & Maintenance :

- Administer and maintain the MECM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, and database management.

- Monitor system performance and health, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement and enforce security policies and compliance standards across all managed endpoints.

- Utilize MECM's features to manage and report on endpoint security configurations and patch compliance.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Provide expert-level support for complex endpoint-related issues, acting as a final point of escalation for technical problems.

- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

- 10+ years of professional experience in the IT field.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure endpoint engineering.

- In-depth, hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), including its latest features and functionalities.

Technical Proficiency :

- Expertise in operating system deployment (OSD) for both Windows and other platforms.

- Strong knowledge of application packaging, software updates, and patch management within MECM.

- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and administration.

Professional Attributes :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Microsoft Intune and co-management strategies.

- Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure AD.

- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator.
