We are looking for an Engineer II - Analytics & Insights to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. The role will focus on developing scalable reporting and analytics solutions using SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, Snowflake, and modern BI tools. The ideal candidate should have strong data development skills, experience with data modeling and reporting, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to support reporting and analytics requirements across SSRS and Snowflake platforms.

- Translate business and client requirements into well-defined technical deliverables and reporting solutions.

- Build and maintain data models using relational databases, tabular models, or cubes.

- Develop proof-of-concept (POC) reports and dashboards and progressively enhance them into production-ready solutions.

- Design and develop reporting solutions that ensure data accuracy, performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with technical and data engineering teams to define and implement appropriate data structures, reporting schemas, and data models.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, development, testing, and delivery.

- Support testing, data validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancement of dashboards and reports.

- Analyze large datasets and identify opportunities to improve query performance and reporting efficiency.

- Research and adopt new BI tools, features, technologies, and data visualization best practices.

- Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable analytics solutions.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 3 - 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, data development, or a related role.

- Strong expertise in SQL, including advanced querying, joins, CTEs, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS.

- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.

- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.

- Experience working with relational databases, tabular models, or analytical data structures.

- Familiarity with Sigma or other modern BI and visualization platforms such as Tableau or Looker.

- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize queries and reporting solutions for performance.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices, or version-control workflows.

- Experience with modern cloud data and analytics ecosystems.

- Familiarity with additional BI, reporting, or data visualization tools.
