YASH Technologies - UI Lead - React.js

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced UI Lead React to lead the design and development of modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in React.js, frontend architecture, component-driven development, and modern JavaScript frameworks. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building intuitive user experiences. The candidate will be responsible for driving frontend development standards, mentoring engineers, and delivering enterprise-grade web applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using React.js.

- Define and implement frontend architecture, reusable component libraries, and UI development standards.

- Build modern user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.

- Develop reusable and maintainable frontend components that can be leveraged across multiple applications.

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and designs into high-quality user experiences.

- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.

- Optimize application performance, load times, and browser compatibility across devices.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, testing practices, and frontend engineering best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on React and frontend technologies.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver business-critical applications.

- Participate in sprint planning, technical design discussions, and release activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in frontend development.

- Strong hands-on expertise in: React.js JavaScript (ES6+) TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 / SCSS

- Strong understanding of:

i. React Hooks

ii. State Management (Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar)

iii. Component-based architecture

iv. Responsive web design

v. Frontend performance optimization

- Experience integrating applications with REST APIs and backend services.

- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.

- Strong understanding of web application security and frontend best practices.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Next.js.

- Exposure to Node.js and frontend build tools.

- Familiarity with AWS-hosted web applications.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, SSO, and modern authentication mechanisms.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
