Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP FS-BA (Financial Services Bank Analyzer) Consultant with deep functional expertise, strong analytical skills, and hands-on exposure to advanced FS-BA components. The ideal professional should possess foundational ABAP skills, a good understanding of SAP FICA processes, and strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory accounting requirements.

You will be responsible for driving solution design, managing subledger processes, integrating with financial modules, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards across complex financial environments.

Key Skills & Experience Required :

- 8 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FS-BA (Bank Analyzer) and/or SAP FICO / SAP FICA.

Strong understanding and working experience with :

- SDL (Subledger Accounting Data Layer)

- RDL (Results Data Layer)

- CVPM (Cash Value Processing Module)

- Solid functional knowledge of banking products, financial instruments, and regulatory accounting (IFRS / US GAAP).

- Basic ABAP skills for debugging, analysis, and collaboration with the technical team.

Proficient in SAP FICA, including :

- Contract Accounts (CA) setup

- Main/Sub transactions

- Posting, clearing, and reconciliation

- Experience in integrating FS-BA with FI/CO, FICA, Treasury, and upstream source systems.

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, subledger architecture, and data flows.

- Experience working in large global financial institutions is an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Configure, manage, and support FS-BA subledger processes, including SDL, RDL, and CVPM.

- Lead end-to-end functional design, solution enhancements, and process optimization within FS-BA.

- Ensure seamless integration between FS-BA and FI/CO, FICA, Treasury, and external systems.

- Work closely with the ABAP development team on enhancements, user exits, interfaces, and custom developments.

- Support SAP FICA processes, including contract accounts, main/sub transactions, billing, posting, clearing, and reconciliation.

- Apply strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Manage testing cycles, prepare functional documentation, and support cutover and go-live activities.

- Provide production support, investigate issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective SAP FS-BA solutions.
