Yamaha Motor - Technical Lead - Java

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

- Translate business and technical requirements from Japanese to English and vice versa to ensure mutual understanding between offshore and onsite teams.

- Participate in client discussions, requirement-gathering sessions, and project reviews conducted in Japanese.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Implement best coding practices, perform code reviews, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

- Prepare technical documentation and status reports in Japanese and English.

- Support deployment activities and provide post-production support when required.

- Work in agile/scrum development environments following SDLC best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

- Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2/N3 certified).

- Experience with databases (MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL) and front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular/React preferred).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
