We are looking for a seasoned AEM Backend Technical Team Lead with 6+ years of experience in CMS development, including 3+ years in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role is focused on backend development and team leadership, not content authoring. The candidate should be capable of guiding a development team while delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of backend developers.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.

- Provide architectural guidance and resolve technical challenges.

AEM Backend Development :

- Develop and maintain Sling Models, Servlets, OSGi services, workflows, event listeners, and AEM forms.

- Customize and optimize AEM backend functionalities including repository management and integrations.

- Ensure security, scalability, and performance tuning of AEM applications.

CMS Integration :

- Work with at least one secondary CMS (Drupal or Liferay).

- Develop and support integrations across CMS platforms, enterprise systems, and third-party APIs (RESTful, SOAP, GraphQL).

Performance & DevOps :

- Optimize backend performance (JCR queries, indexing, dispatcher caching).

- Implement secure authentication and access controls.

- Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and SonarQube.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.

- Contribute to solution design, documentation, and architectural best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years in AEM (6.x).

- Strong expertise in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR (CRXDE, Oak).

- Experience with custom workflows, Sling Models, Servlets, and Dispatcher rules.

- Working knowledge of Drupal or Liferay.

- Proficiency in RESTful API development and system integrations.

- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, SonarQube.

- Proven ability to lead and guide technical teams.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
