About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Operations Specialist to manage and support the organizations IT infrastructure, cloud services, network systems, collaboration tools, and security operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, AWS, networking, firewalls, endpoint security, and IT asset management, along with excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

This role is critical in ensuring seamless IT operations, system uptime, security compliance, and end-user productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Email & Collaboration Systems :

- Manage and administer Microsoft 365 environments, including user creation, licensing, retention policies, MFA, and issue resolution.

- Configure and maintain SMTP services for websites, applications, and system-generated emails.

- Administer Active Directory including users, groups, OU structures, group policies, password resets, and access controls.

2. Network & Security Management :

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortigate Firewalls, including VPN setup, routing, policies, and security rules.

- Manage Netgear Controller to ensure optimal Wi-Fi performance, network segmentation, and access control.

- Administer and continually update Kaspersky Endpoint Security across all devices, ensuring compliance and threat protection.

- Manage and maintain VPN connections for remote and distributed workforce operations.

3. Server & Web Services :

- Oversee domain registration, renewals, and DNS management, ensuring proper routing and availability.

- Manage GoDaddy hosting services, including cPanel, FTP, DNS records, and website availability.

- Configure and renew SSL certificates for secure website and application communication.

- Manage FTP servers ensuring secure and reliable file transfer operations.

- Maintain and update WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, performance optimization, and security patches.

4. Cloud & Application Management :

- Administer AWS cloud operations, including EC2 instance management, S3 storage, backups, VPC, IAM roles, and monitoring.

- Maintain and support Jira for project tracking, workflow setup, and user administration.

- Create and manage GitHub repositories, access controls, versioning, and development collaboration.

5. General IT Operations :

- Monitor and maintain biometric attendance systems, ensuring accuracy and integration with HR systems.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation for system setups, configurations, licenses, and IT processes.

- Provide technical guidance on IT best practices, infrastructure optimization, and system improvements.

- Support incident management, resolve operational IT issues, and ensure minimal downtime.

6. User & Device Management :

- Manage end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access provisioning, and asset assignment/retrieval.

- Oversee laptop and hardware procurement, configuration, imaging, asset tagging, and lifecycle management.

- Diagnose and resolve laptop and hardware issues including OS problems, application failures, and connectivity issues.

- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, license records, and hardware allocation tracking.

7. Compliance & Audit Support :

- Support SOC audit activities, including documentation upkeep, evidence preparation, and system compliance validation.

- Ensure adherence to organization-wide IT security policies, standards, and best practices.

- Conduct periodic audits of user access, systems, and endpoints to maintain compliance and security posture.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- 6-8 years of proven experience in IT system administration or infrastructure management.

- Strong hands-on experience with :

Microsoft 365 Administration
Fortigate Firewalls
AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC)
Active Directory & Group Policy

- Working knowledge of :

Endpoint security solutions (e.g., Kaspersky)
Network controllers (e.g., Netgear)
Web hosting tools (GoDaddy, cPanel, DNS, FTP)

- Familiarity with : GitHub, Jira, WordPress, VPN technologies

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues across systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple IT projects independently.

Educational Qualifications :

- Engineering Graduate / B.Tech / MCA with specialization in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- Advanced certifications in relevant areas such as Azure/AWS, Networking (CCNA/Fortinet), Cybersecurity, or Microsoft 365 will be considered an advantage.
