Profile :
- Location : Pune
- Relevant experience : 7 to 12 Years
- Education : B Tech, BE, MCA, MTech, MSc
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
- Designs test cases assuring the full coverage of the customer requirements of a project or service, applying the appropriate testing techniques.
- Develops and reviews high quality and accurate test scenarios, input test data and expected results for all test phases.
- Executes tests systematically to ensure software quality.
- Assimilates promptly the details of multiple new systems and apply these to the project testing requirements.
- Accepts responsibility as team leader when handling small modules assigning tasks to team members.
- Supervises Testers in the execution of test cases.
- Review testability of the test basis.
- Takes responsibility on reporting and documentation of test cases.
- Implements all of the standard processes and tooling laid down by the organization.
- Proactively leads approach to the implementation of testing best practice within project team.
- Participates in document and peer reviews.
- Proactively assists the Test Lead in monitoring and tracking defects across the testing lifecycle.
- Reports test results with an initial investigation of the defect to provide solution to the developer or team/project lead by investigating logs, displaying defect on the test environment, etc.
- Provides opportune progress status reports to the Test Lead and client.
- Assists with test closure reports and gaining sign off from key stakeholders.
- Supports the development of the test capabilities and competencies in the test services practice.
- Responsible of the risk and issue identification and reporting to Test Lead within his/her scope of responsibility, ensuring all risks and issues are documented with the corresponding mitigations and corrective actions.
- Takes responsibility on being persistent in the achievement of assigned goals, maintaining focus during stressful periods or when deadlines are short and acts as a role model.
- X-Ray (Test cases, Test plan, mapping, attaching evidences).
Who Are We Looking For :
- The candidate requires on-hand experience working with global IT teams and projects preferably from payments (familiar with Visa and Mastercard both debit and credit card) or BFSI domain.
- As this role requires working with European project team.
Skills Required :
- ISTQB certified (Foundation).
- Good to have knowledge of WinSCP, Oracle, DBeaver.
- Knowledge of Putty and Unix commands, SQL.
- Jira and Confluence hands on.
