About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Solution Architect with deep expertise in Workday Financials and HCM to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and integrated Workday solutions, ensuring they align with strategic business goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions within the Workday ecosystem, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

- Lead strategic enhancements across Workday Financials, HCM, and Adaptive Planning.

- Develop end-to-end solution architecture diagrams, integration flows, and deployment strategies.

Integration & Optimization :

- Ensure seamless integration of Workday with other enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HR systems, Data Warehouses, etc.).

- Oversee Workday integrations, data mapping, and transformation processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy.

- Optimize system configurations and business processes for improved efficiency and user experience.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Work closely with Business Product Owners, IT Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and DevOps teams to deliver aligned solutions.

- Translate business needs into detailed technical designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, functional consultants, and administrators.

Governance & Best Practices :

- Define and enforce Workday security models, role-based access controls, and compliance measures.

- Establish technical standards, integration guidelines, and deployment methodologies.

- Stay updated on Workday product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum 9 years of overall IT experience.

- At least 4 years in a Workday Solution Architecture role.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Workday Financials, and related modules.

- Deep understanding of Workdays security model, business process configuration, and reporting.

- Proven experience in enterprise solution architecture design and implementation methodologies.

Certifications : Relevant Workday certifications are mandatory (HCM, Financials, or Solution Architect).

Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Have

- Experience with Adaptive Planning and Workday Prism Analytics.

- Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and enterprise integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
