We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Security Specialist with hands-on experience in Workday security configuration and administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday role-based access, security groups, and business process frameworks, along with the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions.

This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance Workday security, ensure compliance with organizational policies, and support end users with issue resolution and education.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and maintain Workday security across all modules, including role-based, user-based, and domain security policies.

- Manage and implement security groups, business process security policies, and segregation of duties within Workday.

- Analyze user access requests, troubleshoot security issues, and provide timely resolutions.

- Partner with business and functional teams to understand security needs and translate them into technical configurations.

- Conduct regular audits, identify security gaps, and recommend improvements.

- Collaborate with HR, IT, and compliance teams to ensure security standards and governance are upheld.

- Create and maintain documentation for security configurations, processes, and controls.

- Educate and guide users on Workday security best practices and issue resolutions.

- Complete all assigned mandatory trainings within the provided timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in Workday Security configuration and administration.

- Deep understanding of Workdays security framework, including role-based access control (RBAC), user-based access, and domain security policies.

- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Workday access and security-related issues.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.

- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with HR, IT, and business teams.

- Experience in identifying business needs and converting them into technical security solutions.

Preferred Skills :

- Workday Security Certification is a strong plus.

- Exposure to Workday HCM modules or integration security is an advantage.

- Experience in auditing, compliance, or governance processes related to Workday.
