We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid Workato Developer (Senior Associate) to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions using the Workato platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Workato implementations, API integrations, data transformations, and integration best practices. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, application teams, and project managers to ensure successful integration delivery and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities :

Integration Development & Delivery :

- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end integration solutions using Workato.

- Configure and manage Workato environments and integration workflows.

- Build scalable, reusable, and high-performing integration recipes.

- Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.

- Implement Application-to-Application (A2A) and Business-to-Business (B2B) integrations.

Technical Design & Documentation :

- Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and solution specifications.

- Conduct data and field mapping workshops with business and application teams.

- Define integration architecture, workflows, and transformation logic.

- Ensure adherence to integration standards, governance, and best practices.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Perform end-to-end integration testing and validation.

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and defect resolution activities.

- Monitor integration performance and optimize workflows for efficiency and reliability.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical SMEs.

- Communicate effectively with Product Managers, Project Managers, and business users.

- Manage expectations, resolve blockers, and ensure timely project delivery.

Support & Maintenance :

- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting for integration solutions.

- Diagnose and resolve integration issues with minimal business impact.

- Continuously enhance and optimize existing integrations.

Mentorship & Team Contribution :

- Mentor junior developers, consultants, and business analysts.

- Share Workato best practices, design patterns, and implementation methodologies.

- Participate in recruitment, training, staffing, and practice-building initiatives.

Project Planning & Estimation :

- Estimate project effort, timelines, complexity, and resource requirements.

- Support project planning, risk assessment, and delivery execution.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 9 years of experience in integration technologies.

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Workato.

- Strong expertise in Workato platform implementation and administration.

- Experience with A2A and B2B integration solutions.

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, and integration patterns.

- Proficiency in SQL, JSON, XML, and at least one programming language.

- Experience with data mapping, transformation, and workflow automation.

- Understanding of authentication and security protocols such as OAuth and WS-Security.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
