Wireless Network Engineer

Description :

Must have :

- Troubleshoot complex wireless connectivity and performance issues

- Resolve client issues related to authentication, roaming, and interference

- Monitor wireless network health and capacity

- Perform AP provisioning, firmware upgrades, patching and lifecycle management.

- Analyze logs, packet captures, and RF issues

- Design and implement enterprise wireless solutions using Cisco WLC & APs

- Perform wireless site surveys, RF planning, and coverage optimization

- Configure SSIDs, WLANs, security policies, and QoS

- Implement high availability and redundancy for controllers

- Lead wireless migrations, upgrades, and new deployments

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes

- Collaborate with security, LAN, and cloud teams for integration

- Act as L2/L3 escalation point for wireless incidents and outages

- Configure and manage Cisco WLCs and Access Points

- Create and manage SSIDs, policies, QoS, and security configurations

- Integrate wireless with ISE/AAA, guest access, and NAC solutions

- Prepare design documents, diagrams, and SOPs

Good to have :

- Cisco certifications (CCNA / CCNP )

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers

- Experience with Cisco APs (Aironet/Catalyst series)

- Familiarity working with SNOW as end user.

- Experience in preparing documentations and SOPs.
