- Administer and support production VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN environments.

- Perform deployment, expansion, configuration, upgrade, and lifecycle management of Dell VxRail infrastructure.

- Manage and troubleshoot Dell PowerEdge server hardware components, including drives, NICs, power supplies, DIMMs, and iDRAC.

- Manage VMware vSphere clusters, including HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, EVC, and admission control.

- Manage and troubleshoot vSAN environments, including disk groups, cache/capacity tiers, storage policies, and stretched clusters.

- Work with VxRail Manager, VxRail Lifecycle Management (LCM), and VxRail HCI System Software.

- Configure and troubleshoot VMware networking components including standard and distributed vSwitches, NIC teaming, VLAN tagging, jumbo frames, and NIOC.

- Perform advanced troubleshooting using esxtop, vSAN health and performance services, ESXi logs, vCenter logs, vmkernel, hostd, and vpxa logs.

- Manage Windows Server environments and provide support for Windows-based infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across compute, virtualization, storage, networking, and operating-system layers.

- Work with Dell SupportAssist and ProSupport teams for hardware troubleshooting and vendor escalations.

- Collect and analyze VMware log bundles and coordinate with VMware/Dell support teams for issue resolution.

- Support production incidents as a final escalation point and perform hands-on hardware replacement when required.

- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, patching, migrations, capacity expansion, and technology refresh activities.

- Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, security, and operational stability.

- Drive incidents from initial triage through root-cause analysis, resolution, and preventive actions.

- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and infrastructure records.

Required Skills :

- 7 - 8 years of experience in VMware / Windows administration.

- Strong hands-on experience with core VMware technologies including ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, and vSAN.

- 5 - 6 years of experience working with Dell VxRail.

- 5 - 6 years of experience in Windows Server administration.

- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere clustering, including HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, EVC, and admission control.

- Strong understanding of vSAN architecture, disk groups, cache/capacity tiers, storage policies, and stretched clustering.

- Hands-on experience with VxRail Manager, VxRail LCM, and HCI System Software.

- Strong understanding of VMware networking, including standard/distributed vSwitches, NIC teaming, VLANs, jumbo frames, and NIOC.
