Job Title : Senior Windows Platform / Endpoint Software Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a strong Windows Platform/Endpoint Software Engineer with hands-on experience in C#/.NET, C++, Windows Internals, Windows Services, device telemetry, enterprise networking, and AWS. The engineer will develop Windows-based agents/services for device health, inventory, performance monitoring, diagnostics, and cloud telemetry.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Windows Services, background processes, agents, and desktop applications.

- Build components for collecting device health, inventory, performance, and system telemetry.

- Develop scalable integrations with cloud-based telemetry and analytics platforms.

- Design and maintain plugin-based/modular software architecture.

- Troubleshoot production issues, application crashes, logs, and deployment failures.

- Support enterprise deployments, upgrades, and software update mechanisms.

- Develop secure solutions for enterprise Windows environments.

- Contribute to AI-enabled diagnostics, automation, and agent workflows.

- Collaborate with Product, Cloud, Platform, Security, and Development teams.

Mandatory Skills :

1. Windows Platform :

- Strong Windows Internals knowledge.

- Hands-on experience with Windows Services and background applications.

- Strong knowledge of Windows Registry, WMI, Event Logs, Performance Counters, and system diagnostics.

- Experience with Active Directory and domain-joined Windows devices.

2. Programming :

- Strong hands-on C# / .NET.

- Strong hands-on C++.

- Good PowerShell development/scripting experience.

- Experience with plugin architecture/modular software design.

- Strong debugging and crash analysis skills.

3. Enterprise Networking :

- Experience with enterprise proxies.

- Knowledge of Kerberos and NTLM authentication.

- Experience with secure network communications (HTTPS/TLS).

4. AWS / Cloud :

- Hands-on experience with AWS IoT and/or AWS Kinesis.

- AWS CloudFront knowledge is preferred.

- Understanding of telemetry pipelines and event-driven systems.

5. Telemetry :

- Experience collecting and analyzing low-level device/system telemetry.

- Experience with device health, performance, inventory, monitoring, or endpoint data.
