We are looking for a strong Windows Platform/Endpoint Software Engineer with hands-on experience in C#/.NET, C++, Windows Internals, Windows Services, device telemetry, enterprise networking, and AWS. The role involves developing Windows-based agents and services for device health, inventory, performance monitoring, diagnostics, and cloud telemetry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Windows Services, background processes, agents, and desktop applications.

- Build components for collecting device health, inventory, performance, and system telemetry.

- Develop scalable integrations with cloud-based telemetry and analytics platforms.

- Design and maintain plugin-based and modular software architectures.

- Troubleshoot production issues including application crashes, logs, and deployment failures.

- Support enterprise software deployments, upgrades, and update mechanisms.

- Develop secure solutions for enterprise Windows environments.

- Contribute to AI-enabled diagnostics, automation, and agent workflows.

- Collaborate with Product, Cloud, Platform, Security, and Development teams.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Windows Internals, Windows Services, and background applications.

- Hands-on experience with Windows Registry, WMI, Event Logs, Performance Counters, and system diagnostics.

- Experience with Active Directory and domain-joined Windows devices.

- Strong hands-on programming experience in C#/.NET and C++.

- Good experience with PowerShell scripting/development.

- Experience with plugin architecture and modular software design.

- Strong debugging and crash analysis skills.

- Experience with enterprise proxies, Kerberos, NTLM, HTTPS/TLS, and secure network communications.

- Hands-on experience with AWS IoT and/or AWS Kinesis; knowledge of AWS CloudFront is preferred.

- Understanding of telemetry pipelines and event-driven systems.

- Experience collecting and analyzing low-level device/system telemetry, including device health, performance, inventory, monitoring, or endpoint data.
