Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Windchill Administrator to manage, configure, and support PTC Windchill environments (11.x / 12.x). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windchill system administration, customization, performance tuning, and upgrade activities, along with solid understanding of PLM processes and integration with CAD and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain PTC Windchill PDMLink / ProjectLink / SIM environments.

- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and access controls.

- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

- Support Windchill upgrades, patches, and migration activities.

- Manage and configure Windchill Business Rules, Life Cycles, and Workflows.

- Oversee BOM management, release management, and document management modules.

- Coordinate with IT infrastructure and development teams for issue resolution and deployments.

- Implement customizations and configurations on both server and UI levels.

- Support data migration, CAD integration, and configuration management activities.

- Maintain backup, recovery, and system documentation.

Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windchill Administration (v11.x / v12.x).

- Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, components, and configuration management.

- Experience with Windchill BOM Management, Release Management, Workflow, and Lifecycle modules.

- Experience in large-scale Windchill implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.

- Strong knowledge of Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, and SIM modules.

- Hands-on experience in Windchill Business Administration, custom utilities, and Info-Engine tasks.

- Knowledge of Java, JSP, XML, and Windchill customization APIs is a plus.

- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging Windchill system and logs.

- Familiarity with Oracle/SQL databases, LDAP, and Apache/Tomcat.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to ThingWorx or PTC Navigate.

- Experience with CAD data management (Creo, NX, CATIA) integrations.

- Knowledge of cloud or container-based Windchill deployments.
